JIWA is designed specifically for Microsoft Windows and always has been. It has never used old DOS technologies. JIWA is a 100% Microsoft Windows application. As well as the ease-of-use that comes from this, it means JIWA Financials is not restricted by old technology. JIWA takes full advantage of modern technology to provide site-specific functionality and even user-specific functionality within the one company, without affecting future upgrades. This results in great flexibility. For example, any information is able to be presented as a pop-up when and where a user needs it. In technical jargon, JIWA uses: COM; .NET; stored procedures; and breakouts to provide the most efficient workflows and relevant information for each Jiwa user.

Standard Commercial Technology

Microsoft is continually developing JIWA's "engine" (that is, its underlying Microsoft SQL Server database) and hence JIWA is able to rely on this very credible and large corporation to incorporate the advantages of new technologies into JIWA. Some call this "future-proofing". Due to the standard development languages used by JIWA, many IT professionals will be able to tailor their JIWA system in many areas without the assistance of JIWA. Integration with other Applications & eCommerce

Due to the power of its underlying database, JIWA provides very powerful searching facilities in all areas. Whether you have thousands of inventory items, customers or suppliers, you can find the information you need. JIWA enables you to search upon as many fields within the system as required, at the same time, using "starting with", "starting from" and / or "containing" capabilities. You are also able to make one entry in a search screen and JIWA will search on multiple or all fields in a particular area at the same time.
