What's new in Jiwa V6.5.9 ?
Importing Creditor and Debtor Transactions
Creditor and Debtor transaction importing has been added in V6.5.9 giving Jiwa customers greater flexibility in managing their customers and suppliers.
Stock Transfers module re-write
The Stock Transfer module has been re-written and new features include:
- Notes, Custom Fields, Documents and To-Do?s
- Export and Import from XML
- The ability to copy a transfer
- The ability to mirror a transfer (i.e. reverse it)
- Reasons can be attached at both form and line level
- Ability to attach a ledger account to a reason and in effect change the Write On and Write Off codes
- Ability to change the 'To Part No Cost' on the form
Archiving functionality released in V6.05.08 has been expanded. The Archiving module consists of the following forms:
- Archiving Provider - to define the archiving provider and its filters
- Archive Repository - nominate the file system location on the server to keep the deleted records
- Archiving Maintenance - create an archiving job/task and select the effective filters
- The transaction is data on or before the date selected for the compression
- Both the invoice and the credit are fully allocated
- Both the invoice and the credit are aged out
Shortcuts
Jiwa customers now have the ability to create desktop shortcuts from Jiwa Start menu items. This feature will save customers significant amounts of time by allowing each user to setup Jiwa in a way which maximises their efficiency.
Purchase Order Generation
This is new form for creating bulk purchase orders. Essentially, the form provides an interface to create multiple purchase orders. The user sees all the suppliers for a particular part and can choose which supplier to order from.
