The Product: JIWA Ease of Use / Look & Feel
JIWA is built on standard, modern, Microsoft technologies and has deliberately kept its Microsoft "look and feel".
Flexible Tabs, Columns & Fields
Tabs, columns and fields throughout the system may be renamed, moved around, turned off or have their purpose changed. The example below is of the JIWA Sales Order Entry screen:
Custom Fields
Throughout the JIWA system, users may use custom fields to record and track information. Such information may be used for reporting or other functions. Custom fields include drop-down boxes; date fields; text fields; float fields; integer fields; search screens; and checkboxes:
Many Screens, One Window
As many JIWA screens (forms) as required may be opened at any one time within the one JIWA menu on your taskbar. You may easily switch between these screens. Furthermore, each screen may be sized to your preference or even tiled as displayed below:
Only See What You Want To See
The information that any particular JIWA user sees is dependant upon what they need to view or what their managers want them to view. For example, Betty, a sales clerk, might only be allowed to see "Sales Order Entry" on the main menu; "Quoting" on the sub-menu invoicing; and "Quoting" and "Betty's Quote Report" on the last menu. All other menu items would not appear to Betty. This also makes training new staff much faster.

- JIWA GL Codes may be 50 alpha-numeric characters long and may be divided into 6 segments
- All customer and supplier Account Codes may be 50 alpha-numeric characters long
- Inventory part numbers may be 50 alpha-numeric characters long
- All description fields may be 255 alpha-numeric characters long and there are multiple description fields that may be used for the one inventory item
